From ore to plant — gold, minerals and EPC
Gold is the flagship. The Company also develops and supports opportunities across Tanzania’s wider mineral sector through technical support, plant development and EPC for licensed operations. Our ISO 9001:2015 scope covers mining project development, EPC, design, site supervision, project management and processing plant development.
Gold projects
Chunya–Makongorosi, Kilindi (Ngeze), Manga applications and Mapele (AfriGlobal Group) — documented rights, no undeclared resources.
Wider mineral sector
Technical support, plant development and EPC for licensed mineral operations beyond the gold flagship. We name only what our documents support.
Specialist team
Board leadership, a named project team and Continental Consultants as engineering affiliate under common control with the CEO (related party, not a shareholder). See leadership.
Investor funds are safeguarded by law, by regulators and by project controls
Legal certainty
Under the Investment and Special Economic Zones Act, 2025, administered by the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA), investments may not be nationalised or expropriated except under a law providing fair and prompt compensation and access to the courts or arbitration.
Repatriation
The same law allows net profits, dividends, foreign-loan repayments and sale or liquidation proceeds to be transferred abroad in convertible currency through an approved bank.
Treaties and insurance
Tanzania is a member of MIGA (World Bank Group political-risk insurance) and an ICSID Contracting State since 1992, with bilateral investment treaties in force with countries including China, Germany, Switzerland, Türkiye and the United Kingdom.
Oversight and traceability
The Mining Commission licenses and monitors all mineral activity; royalties are paid before export; gold is sold through formal markets and the Bank of Tanzania.
How the framework works
| Safeguard | What it provides |
|---|---|
| Mining Act (Cap. 123), amended 2017 | The Mining Commission issues and revokes licences, monitors operations, inspects safety and environmental management, audits production and royalties, and sets indicative mineral prices. |
| Mineral and Gem Houses (Mining Act, s. 27C) | Minerals are bought and sold through markets established by the Mining Commission, giving formal, recorded sales. |
| Royalties, fees and export permits | Gold royalty of 6% of gross value and a 1% inspection fee are payable before clearance; exports need a Mining Commission permit certifying payment. |
| Bank of Tanzania gold programme | Gold sold to the Bank of Tanzania passes through approved refineries with fire assay, giving a recorded chain of custody. |
| Investment law and TISEZA | The Investment and Special Economic Zones Act, 2025 is administered by TISEZA, formed in 2025 from the merger of TIC and EPZA. Afriglobal’s TIC Certificate of Incentives No. 2025103132 (17 Oct 2025) cites the investment law’s protection, arbitration and currency-transfer provisions and remains valid under the Act’s transitional provisions (s. 51). |
| Environment and safety | NEMC oversees environmental assessment and audit (Environmental Management Act); OSHA registers workplaces and licenses compliance (Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2003). |
| Corporate transparency | BRELA company register; TRA tax clearance; Tanzania is an EITI implementing country, with disclosure under the TEITA Act, 2015. |

Our reporting position on resources
No JORC, SAMREC, NI 43-101 or other CRIRSCO-aligned Mineral Resource has yet been declared for any of our project areas, and we do not publish resource or reserve figures. We have observed gold-bearing quartz veins, and visible gold, at active faces at Chunya; grades are still to be confirmed by independent sampling and assay.
Next step: an independent Competent Person will verify faces and stockpiles and, after drilling, prepare a maiden Mineral Resource estimate, under published Terms of Reference.
Important notice. This website is provided for information only. It is not an offer of securities or a solicitation of investment. Statements about planned activities, costs, timing and production are forward-looking and depend on approvals, testwork and other factors. Figures are taken from the Company’s records and the documents listed above, which are available on request. Recipients should carry out their own due diligence and take independent advice.
We welcome you to visit our site in Chunya
Investors, lenders and their technical advisers are invited to inspect the Kitete shafts, the ore stockpiles and the Umoja vat-leach facility, and to meet our team. We will arrange site access and logistics at a mutually convenient date.
